Dr. Draughon is a board-certified Doctor of Nursing Practice, Primary Care and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and retired U.S. Army Medical Corps Officer with more than 25 years of clinical experience and over a decade dedicated to integrated primary care and behavioral health. As Medical Director at Serenity Nonprofit, she provides leadership across both medical and mental health services, ensuring patients receive compassionate, evidence-based, whole-person care.

Her extensive clinical background includes emergency medicine, internal medicine, outpatient psychiatric care, and academic instruction as a Clinical Professor at South University. This diverse experience allows her to provide comprehensive care that addresses both physical health concerns and mental wellness, recognizing the important connection between mind and body.

Dr. Draughon works with patients experiencing a wide range of health and behavioral health challenges, including depression, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), anxiety disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), panic disorder, phobias, trauma-related conditions including acute stress disorder, insomnia, ADHD, and other stress-related concerns. In her primary care role, she also supports patients with preventive care, chronic health management, wellness monitoring, and general medical needs.
